without ceasing continues for Joanne…

UPDATE: Toben as asked via Twitter that we specifically pray that the swelling decrease.  Joanne’s brain needs to stop swelling, decrease in swelling and pressure.  SO… the Lord has impressed upon several of Joanne’s friends to take tomorrow (and today if you wish) to corporately fast and pray on her behalf.    The fast will end after corporate prayer time tomorrow night, or whenever the Lord leads you to end your fast for Joanne.  If you are joining us.. please leave a comment below.  (We’d love it)  Also, there is some great information on how to fast safely from IHOP here:  Fasting & Praying for Joanne

Morning friends.  I am rejoicing in the opportunity to corporately worship and hear God’s Word today.  He’s so precious and gracious to us.  I pray that your heart is tendered to the body of Christ this morning and that no matter where you are.. you are celebrating the Sabbath.  Praying that you are celebrating the kind of God we serve.

We are desperate for your prayers over our sweet Joanne today.  Toben updated last night and asked for us to pray for a miracle TODAY.  I know we have been praying for a miracle, but let’s pray for the BIG stuff today.  Let’s be mindful all day today to keep Joanne and her healing at the forefront of our hearts and minds, all the while being obedient to His will over our lives.  Toben’s update is at Joanne’s blog: The Simple Wife There is also an update on Janna’s blog:  Mustard Seeds and an amazing, vulnerable and blessed post from Kristen at: khphotography .

The other thing I wanted to share with you is a new way to join us (some of Joanne’s bloggy/online/twitter/Siesta/IRL friends/family) in corporate prayer time for Joanne.  We are blessed with help from Mary R. Snyder and GotoMeeting.  You don’t have to be on your computer to join us.  You can call in as well.  Here is the information you will need to join us.  There is a little bit of registration that is required before hand.  So, if you plan on joining us this week in prayer, go ahead and register.  You will receive a confirmation and your own personal path to join in the corporate prayer.  I have also created a page dedicated to praying for Joanne that will list current information.  The same information is listed below:

  1. I am in prayer today and have been and will continue I can’t imagine , But I will be praying and I’m also going to try to join in for the prayer tomorrow, the cross of Jesus is crowded with lots of seista’s and others carry this lady to the cross.

  2. In constant prayer for them and for a miracle for her! I will do the Daniel fast (can't do total no food due to meds), and will try to call in tonight. {{HUGS}}

  3. I fasted two meals today – broke it around 5 pm. My prayer time for Joanne has been sweet to me. God gave me James 5:15a (NKJV) "And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up."

    And this… Matthew 9:18-26 (NKJV)
    While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, "My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live." So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples.
    And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. For she said to herself, "If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well." But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, "Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well." And the woman was made well from that hour. When Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing,
    He said to them, "Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping." And they ridiculed Him. But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. And the report of this went out into all that land.

    The part that grabbed me… told them "Make room, for this girl is not dead, but sleeping." He put the mourners outside and then he went and got her out of bed – and indeed she was alive. 🙂

  4. I just wanted to say, that when I first met Mrs. Heim, it was when I was going to school with her daughter, Audrey. I went to girlscouts and she was our leader. She taught us how to make these little birdie coin purses. And by the way, when you read this when you wake up Mrs. Heim, I still have mine. 🙂
