UPDATE: Toben as asked via Twitter that we specifically pray that the swelling decrease. Joanne’s brain needs to stop swelling, decrease in swelling and pressure. SO… the Lord has impressed upon several of Joanne’s friends to take tomorrow (and today if you wish) to corporately fast and pray on her behalf. The fast will end after corporate prayer time tomorrow night, or whenever the Lord leads you to end your fast for Joanne. If you are joining us.. please leave a comment below. Morning friends. I am rejoicing in the opportunity to corporately worship and hear God’s Word today. He’s so precious and gracious to us. I pray that your heart is tendered to the body of Christ this morning and that no matter where you are.. you are celebrating the Sabbath. Praying that you are celebrating the kind of God we serve.
We are desperate for your prayers over our sweet Joanne today. Toben updated last night and asked for us to pray for a miracle TODAY. I know we have been praying for a miracle, but let’s pray for the BIG stuff today. Let’s be mindful all day today to keep Joanne and her healing at the forefront of our hearts and minds, all the while being obedient to His will over our lives. The other thing I wanted to share with you is a new way to join us (some of Joanne’s bloggy/online/twitter/Siesta/IRL friends/family) in corporate prayer time for Joanne. We are blessed with help from Mary R. Snyder and GotoMeeting. You don’t have to be on your computer to join us. You can call in as well. Here is the information you will need to join us. There is a little bit of registration that is required before hand. So, if you plan on joining us this week in prayer, go ahead and register. You will receive a confirmation and your own personal path to join in the corporate prayer. I have also created a page dedicated to praying for Joanne that will list current information. Most of you are aware of our prayers over my friend, Joanne.
If you aren’t aware, Joanne suffered a major stroke Tuesday morning while running on her treadmill at home.
Her husband, Toben is updating her blog when he is able over at The Simple Wife. Her sister, Kristen wrote a lovely post this morning at khphotography. It’s an indescribable way of life for all of them right now. I covet your prayers over not only Joanne, but her family and friends. If you are on the Twitter, you can follow Toben at tobenheim . One of Joanne’s sweet friends, Janna has put together wonderful blessing buntings for Joanne’s hospital room. Feel free to join in and either leave a comment for Janna to use or make your own blessing bunting. I’m going to try and see if I can create a presentable one this weekend for her.
